1. Is this diet safe?
Of course! MD Diet has been safely helping people lose weight and regain their health for over 30 years. All our diets are personalized and monitored closely by medical professionals to ensure that you have a secure and effective weight loss experience.
2. Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, since we are a diet center, we do not currently take any sort of insurance and all fees are due at the time of service. However, some insurances consider weight loss expenses such as the fees at our center as appropriate spending for your flex spending account or cafeteria plan. Consult your insurance carrier for more details.
3. Do you sell prescriptions?
No, we are not a pharmacy. All prescriptions that you receive from our practitioner will need to be filled at your local pharmacy.
4. What sort of medications will I be prescribed?
That depends. Since all our diets are monitored by our medical practitioner, prescriptions vary from individual to individual and you may or may not need any sort of medication at all. However, if approved by our medical practitioner, many of our patients have found weight loss medications helpful in their pursuit to change their eating habits and lifestyle, so they can keep the weight off long term.
5. Do you require your patients to buy special food on this diet?
No, we at MD Diet believe that you should be able to have a normal life while losing weight. All our diets can be accomplished by eating things you can buy at the grocery store and make yourself. We do, however, have a great selection of foods in our clinic at very reasonable prices if you are interested in healthy food suggestions. We offer samples of our products as well—just ask!

7. What do you charge for your services?
Each clinic is individually owned and operated, therefore, pricing may vary slightly by location. However, the pricing index for the Salt Lake City location is as follows:
